How Should Your Child Dress for Class?

We strive to achieve a professional and learning astmosphere. Those students improperly dressed will be asked to observe, rather than actively participate in class.

	No street shoes on the dance floor.
	Hair is to be worn pulled neatly away from face, and securely pinned back for all levels.
	Keep jewelry to a minimum.

Tiny Tots and Midgets

Leotard and tights - any solid color and style. Pink ballet slippers. Black patent leather tap shoes (Tiny Tots are not required to have tap shoes).

Juniors

Leotard and tights - any solid color or style. Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers. Black jazz Oxtford tap shoes. Tan jazz Oxford jazz shoes.

Teens

Leotard and tights - any solid color or style. Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers. Black jazz Oxtford tap shoes. Black slip on gore boot.

Seniors

Leotard and tights - any solid color or style. Pink canvas ballet slippers. Black jazz Oxtford tap shoes. Tan / Black slip on gore boot.

Boy's

Loose fitting pants, T-shirt or tank top.

Hip-Hop

Any loose dance clothes, dance sneakers. NO STREET CLOTHES.

Ballet & Pointé

Solid color leotard, footed tights, pink ballet / pointé shoes. Hair must be worn in a pony tail or bun, ballet skirt.

Tap

Solid color leotard or dance top, dance pants or shorts, no street clothes, black taps.

Jazz

Solid color leotard or dance top, dance pants or shorts, no street clothes or large tops, jazz shoes.

General information: Hair is to be worn away from the face. Presentable attire is accepted by student to enable the teacher's evaluation for correct placement. Ballet skirt, jazz pants, and dance shorts are accepted.
