Welcome back to SAADance. I would like to say "Bravo" to last year's dancers on another show well done. I would like to welcome the new families to Shannon's All About Dance and hope that you all feel right at home and enjoy being a part of my All About Dance family. If you EVER have questions, please feel free to ask me before class starts or between classes. There ARE no silly questions.
This year, it is undecided what we will be performing for our Christmas Show: "The Rockette Holiday Review" or "The Nutcracker" (place your vote when you sign up). Sign-ups will begin October 1st. All ages are invited to participate. All rehearsals are held on Saturdays between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 (or on Thursdays before 5:00 PM). Rehearsals start on the third Saturday of October and go through Saturday, December 13th, with the performance on Sunday, December 14th. This is a tentative date until the date has been confirmed. There is a $60.00 per person rehearsal fee for all of those who would like to participate, due by the first rehearsal. Don't miss out on a great experience! There must be at least 25 dancers signed up in order for us to put on a Christmas Show.
Did you know that everything you needed to know about our studio and all the latest information and news can be found at www.saadance.com? It's a wonderful site; if you haven't logged on, go ahead - type it in! Look for the studio pictures from last year, as well as years past. For all of you who are interested in being on our Studio Email List to receive all newsletters and other important information, please fill out your email address on the attached slip. All of the families that filled out your email address on your registration form do not need to fill out the slip. Sarita (our webdesigner) has those already.
Things to plan for: Watching Week #1, Costume Payments, and Studio Fund Raiser.
This year's recital theme is "Music by Rock Legends". If you know of any song that can be used, let Shannon know ASAP. All songs will be picked before the 1st of November so that costumes can be ordered by November 15th.
With this in mind, costume payments are due by November 1st, or before.
The costs are as follows:

The Holidays are just right around the corner and with that in mind, we have some new fund raisers in mind. Each year, I ask the families of SAADance to help with a few simple fund raisers, and this year, some of our studio moms are getting together some easy fund raisers for the studio to participate in. There will be more inforrmation in the next newsletter.
Watching Week #1 is just right around the corner. Mark your calendar for these dates: Monday, October 13th through Saturday, October 18th. I will be sending home a Memo the week before each class has their watching week as a reminder.
